About Me
Don't Let Hand Pain Keep You from Flossing

I am proud to say that I have all my own teeth at the age of 65. While that may not sound unusual to some people, everyone in my family who is my age or older wears dentures. I always tell people that that flossing is the key to good dental health. I have arthritis in my hands, but I don't let it keep me from flossing every day. My trick is to use those little "flossers" you can buy at the drug store. They have plastic handles floss stretched out on top of the handle. These make flossing easier on days when my arthritis is acting up. I started this blog to let other people know that they can keep their teeth healthy into old age when they take care of them. If you have hand pain, find ways to make flossing easier, like I did.

Some Benefits Of Whiter Teeth

Francis Miles

Staining and discoloration of your teeth can happen slowly over time, and this can make it hard for you to notice exactly when your teeth aren't looking as bright as they normally do. Of course, you want to keep your smile as white and bright as possible, and you want to do it in the best, most efficient way possible. This means forgetting about those store-bought whiteners that are like gambling with your teeth.

It's much better to go right to your dentist for your whitening treatments. They have the best products, and they will give you an evaluation to determine which of those products are the right fit for your own needs. Here are some of the benefits of staying on top of the whitening of your teeth.

A boost to your self-confidence – Once you see that nice, bright smile return when you look in the mirror each morning, you will instantly feel better about yourself. The way you feel each day when you leave the house can play a big role in the successes you have that day. This is due to the fact you will portray how you feel about yourself in your attitude, both toward yourself and others. When you feel confident, you will create a bubble of self-satisfaction around yourself that others will subconsciously notice and feed off of.

You will do better at your job – The success of most jobs directly correspond to your attitude and the way you present yourself. If you feel good about the way you look each day, your smile will show it. It has been proven that a real smile can be infectious, and this means you will make those you are dealing with feel better as well. This is something that's very important when you are in certain lines of work, such as sales or even waitressing. Don't be surprised to see a big boost in your commission or tips once you go in for a tooth whitening session with your dentist.

You will do better with romance – If you are in a relationship, you'll find things go even better when you feel great about yourself. If you are single, you may find that you turn more heads the more you smile at people and smiling also makes you more approachable. When you are more approachable, it leaves you open to meeting a lot of people, one of which may end up being a good match for you.
